On June 6, 2013 Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga Region Governor, paid a working visit to Duminichi District and attended the construction site of Kaluga Concrete Plant OOO.
The new concrete plant is being built at Kotorskoe limestone deposit. Currently a modern production line and relevant infrastructure facilities are under construction. The new plant’s capacity will equal 3.5 million t of concrete per annum; over 1,000 new jobs will be created. The first production line is to be commissioned in the second half of 2014.
Concrete manufactured by the plant will be used for construction of industrial and social facilities as well as residential premises in Lyudinovo special economic zone located nearby.
