Regional Business Development. French and Japanese Experience international conference was held in Kaluga on March 25, 2014. Within the framework of the event businessmen from Kaluga Region discussed with French and Japanese companies’ representatives various issues related to efficient cooperation promotion. For instance, they spoke of foreign business adaptation to regional infrastructure, which is uncommon for it.
Nikolay Lyubimov, Deputy Governor, Kaluga Region, in his welcoming speech expressed his confidence that the conference would promote further active implementation of business projects in Kaluga Region.
Emilie Desormiere, Attaché for Interdepartmental Cooperation of the French Embassy to Moscow, pointed out that foreign business community knew Kaluga Region as a dynamically developing territory with transparent legislation, where a lot of business projects had been successfully implemented. She said: “Further improvement of our cooperation is an acute issue for us. We plan to arrange a visit of two groups of Russian managers to France this year”.
Kurosaka Seiti, PCMA Rus representative, said that Japanese businessmen had developed a number of proposals on how to improve business infrastructure as well as identified specific tools to implement them.
