Kaluga Hosts the First Regional IT FORUM
On December 5, Kaluga hosted a major information technology industry event – the IT Forum “Kaluga’s ICT Cluster: Potential for Development”. Cluster representatives, including Kaluga Astral, Kraftway, Alt Linux, Kamin Plus, Everest and others, organized exhibition stands to demonstrate their achievements.
According to Kaluga Astral Director Igor Chernin, the principal goal of the ICT cluster is the concentration of competencies in the IT sphere and mutual outsourcing. “We have all the resources that are needed for development not only on the regional, but also on the federal level”, he adds.
Kaluga’s ICT cluster includes 62 regional IT companies. An IT Directors Club is currently being created for the cluster that will serve as a platform for professional contacts between the industry’s top managers, clients and customers.
