On September 7, 2014 Trout-F OOO opened a fish farm in Borovsk district to produce trout and salmon. The ceremony was attended by Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga Region Governor, Leonid Gromov, the Minister for Agriculture, and Oganes Tsaturian, Rose Hill OOO Director General.
An industrial fish farm, which is to produce fish, including trout and salmon, all year round has been built in Kaluga Region. The indoor facilities are well-protected against adverse weather. In 2014 the annual capacity equals 500 t of fish per annum. Investments in the project exceeded RUR 380 million.
The project provides for installation of modern hi-tech equipment and systems by AquaMaof Aquaculture Technologies LTD, Israel. The new fish farm is to apply the most modern aquaculture technologies.
Oganes Tsaturian, Rose Hill OOO Director General, who initiated this project, said that they had received support from the government at all stages of the project implementation.
Anatoly Artamonov congratulated the attendees on opening of the fish farm. He said: “It is very important for us to provide support to those who work and develop production”.
