Kaluga Region Business Catalyst is a unique program aimed at improvement of Kaluga Region innovative projects’ quality and training of project teams to cooperate with potential investors. SKOLKOVO Management School (Moscow), Russian Venture Company OAO and Agency for Innovative Development – Center for Cluster Development of Kaluga Region OAO are among the program’s organizers.

The program objective is to promote the establishment of new startups and improve the quality of existing projects, provision of support to teams looking for investors, partners, mentors, experts as well as familiarization with mechanisms existing in Kaluga Region and the Russian Federation to support innovative development institutions.    

The program is to be implemented in stages. The first stage to be implemented by October 31, 2013 provides for submission of applications by  project teams (such applications shall include the description of relevant projects). All projects are to be appraised by experts. After that stage the project teams are to work with mentors and experts who are to help the team members prepare presentations to be delivered to potential investors and partners.  Apart from that the project participants are to attend interesting trainings and master classes held by experts from the leading development institutions of the Russian Federation.  In the period between November 29 and November 30, 2013 Seed Forum, practical consulting sessions, will be organized for projects selected by the experts. In the course of Seed Forum its participants will carry out a detailed evaluation of projects selected for the final event of the program,  DEMO-DAY, to be held in Moscow. Kaluga Region Business Catalyst is a free-of-charge program.
