In Kaluga Region the mass production of tablets and PCs starts up
The state will finance the establishment of a manufacturing enterprise in the sphere of high technology for 500 mln roubles. The industry development fund will credit the company Kraftway in the sum of 500 mln roubles at 5% per annum for the period up to 5 years in order to ensure the creation of a manufacturing line, producing PCs and tablets in Obninsk.
The planned volume of proprietary investments of Kraftway to the project will exceed 1,5 mlrd roubles. According to the reports of «Kommersant» the Kraftway company has already invested to the establishment of the industrial production in Obninsk more than 25 mln dollars, but the main production facilities of the company were launched in 2007.
The main customers of new industrial product types will become the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, Moscow City Government and other state-funded organizations, concerned with specialized products.
