Construction of modern livestock breeding complex is completed in association with Rosagroleasing JSC in Podborki village, Kozelsk district. Duminichsky Molzavod JSC was initiator of this project. Anatoly Artamonov, Governor of Kaluga Region, Lyudmila Pridanova, Deputy Director General, Rosagroleasing JSC, Dmitry Kubanov and Founder of Duminichsky Molzavod JSC took part in the solemn opening ceremony.

Livestock farm in Podborki is the major one in Kaluga Region. About 2 bln Rubles were spent for the construction of facility and purchase of pedigree livestock. 8 year payback period is planned. Design capacity of the farm is 25, 000 tons of milk per year. 70 jobs will be created.

Commercial dairy farm with total surface of 30 ha is designed for 2,400 cows with free stall housing. Carrousel-type milking parlor for 70 places allows swift cow in and out ensuring high operational efficiency. Milk-cooling system and its storage in thermostat tanks are provided. Biogas power plant is installed at the farm generating energy from recycled waste.

Lyudmila Pridanova, Deputy Director General, Rosagroleasing JSC expressed her gratitude to the management team of Kaluga Region for maximum support provided at all construction stages and noted that the project is important not only for the company and the region but also for all Russia: “We do plan to create a training center on the basis of this complex and share our experience in implementing such projects with other regions”, - Lyudmila Pridanova concluded. Anatoly Artamonov, Governor of Kaluga Region, in his turn, expressed confidence in further cooperation.

It is planned to create agricultural holding to include pig breeding farm, fish-farm, broiler building and feed factory.
