The grand opening of the industrial and administrative complex JSC “Obninsk Energotechnological Company” took place on January 21 in Obninsk.

The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the RF Sergey Tsyb, the Governor of Kaluga Region Anatoly Artamonov, the head of the science city administration Alexander Avdeev, the chairman of the supervisory board in the small-scale enterprise support Fund Ivan Bortnik and the company’s business partners.

“ObninskEnergoTech” was operating in the rented sites. Their own building was constructed with the Region administration support of the city of science in the innovative development zone of Obninsk. Total amount of investments is 180 mln. roubles. Here the research and development base of the enterprise and the production itself will be located. Besides the expansion of production and the foreign market launch of the product are planned.

Speaking at the ceremony Anatoly Artamonov highly appreciated the work of the Obninsk Company in succeeding in the import substitution and wished success to the team of “ObninskEnergoTech” in the fulfilment of their plans. The governor assured everyone that the implementation of all the perspective ideas always finds active support from the regional Government. “This is what is called a real component of any small-scale business. And we will thoroughly facilitate its development”- the head of the Region underlined.

JSC “ObninskEnergoTech” is a famous Russian developer and producer of a high-tech, resource and energy-saving production, including the unique samples. It is in high demand in electric-power industry, machine-building, metallurgical and mining industry. The company produces equipment for the service of underground power cables.
