On June 18, 2012 Governor Anatoly Artamonov chaired Kaluga Region Government meeting.
Kaluga Region Government supported the concept of Agro-Industrial Complex Regional Development Center establishment. The list of the new institution’s objectives includes the provision of information and consulting services to business entities, as well as provision of methodological support to local agricultural producers and small businesses in the field of agricultural production efficiency improvement and development of business plans for investment projects.
When speaking of the necessity to establish the afore-mentioned center in Kaluga Region Governor Artamonov mentioned that the key task was to help agricultural businesses and investors find each other and remove all bureaucratic barriers in this field. Anatoly Artamonov believes that initially the center is to become a division of the Agency for Regional Development of Kaluga Region, and afterwards become an independent institution upon accumulating sufficient practical experience.
