Kaluga Region Creates a Unique Helicopter Triplex
Technologia, an Obninsk-based research and production enterprise, has developed a unique organo-organic bird-proof triplex for the Russian Ka-62 helicopter. This was the product of the first stage of design and development efforts that are to result in the creation of heterogenic electrically heated shatterproof glazing for aircrafts.
The composition of the glass product combines lightness with exceptional structural performance, being able to withstand a collision with a bird at helicopter velocity of 265 km/h, and currently has no analogues with a similar combination of characteristics.
