A delegation of TH true milk, a member of TH Group, Vietnam, visited Kaluga Region on May 13, 2016.  The delegation was headed by Nguen Than Shon, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Vietnam to Russia.  The delegation was to review investment opportunities offered by Kaluga Region in the field of agriculture and food industry.

ТН true milk operates milk farms, milk and feed plants, an integrated medical center, a chain of stores. Apart from that it produces organic vegetables and functional food. The company holds a 30% share in the Vietnamese milk market.   

In March 2016 Anatoly Artamonov visiting Vietnam took part in an official ceremony dedicated to signing of an agreement between Kaluga Region Government, Ulyanovo municipal district administration, Mosalsk municipal district administration and ТН true milk management in the person Thai Hyong. The agreement provides for implementation of an investment project related to construction of a dairy farming facility and an industrial milk processing plant applying state-of-the-art technologies as well as a greenhouse facility to produce bio fruits and vegetables. The new facilities are to be commissioned in 2019.

The Vietnamese delegation accompanied by Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga Region Governor, visited a agroindustrial center in Detchino.  The center, which is absolutely unique for Russia, comprises the production facilities of five major European companies, manufacturing equipment for agriculture, namely:  Grimme, Lemken, Wolf System, Big Dutchman and EcoNiva.

Thai Hyong  highly praised the business climate of Kaluga Region. She said: “We will definitely find business partners here”.

The Russian project will be the first ТН true milk project beyond Vietnam. Up until now the company operated only in Vietnam. In the future the company may launch the production of cheese, fermented milk products and sausages in the Russian Federation.

Grimme and Lemken are among the leading manufacturers of ground care and sowing machinery in Germany.  The companies manufactures, repairs and exports machinery used in potato production, as well towed and self-propelled beet harvesters. Wolf System manufactures steel structures for agricultural facilities, and wooden frame houses. Big Dutchman designs and manufacturers litter and feeding systems for pigs (breeding and feeding) and poultry (poultry meat and eggs production).

EcoNiva-Kaluga Russian-German joint venture has build a center for maintenance and repair of  agricultural machinery (Kverneland mounted and towed  equipment; Vaderstad ground care machinery; John Deere tractors and harvesters; Grimme potato production, harvesting and storage systems, etc.)
