Viktor Trigubko: There Are Plenty of Areas for Potential Cooperation between Lithuania and Kaluga Region

On April 22, 2013 a meeting between Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga Region Governor, and the Chairman of the Business Council for Cooperation between the Republic of Lithuania and the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of Lithuanian companies interested in cooperation with Kaluga Region, was held.

The meeting participants discussed potential areas of trade and economic cooperation, including agriculture, automotive and chemical industries, wood processing, textile industry, etc.

Viktor Trigubko, Chairman of the Business Council for Cooperation between the Republic of Lithuania and the Russian Federation under the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation, said: “Such meetings with the business community regularly attended by all the top officials of the region are not typical of all Russian regions. I know what I am talking about. I hope that such a high level of interest and interaction will continue into the future”.
