Samsung Electronics Rus Kaluga plant produces 100% of all Samsung TV sets and monitors sold in Russia. Product range includes LED TV sets, monitors, and washing machines.
Total volume of investments in construction of Samsung Electronics Rus Kaluga plant exceeded USD 250 mln. Samsung became one of the major investors not only in Kaluga Region, but in Russia as well.
In November 2015, Samsung was an initiator of the project within the framework of New Silk Road, transportation route, which will link North-Eastern Asia with consumers and partners in Europe via the Russian territory. This project aims to reduce term of delivery, optimize production processes and cut logistics costs.
