A cooperation agreement between the Agency for Regional Development of Kaluga Region and Roskongress Foundation was concluded at XXIII Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 6, 2019. The agreement was signed by Nikolay Angreev, Director General, Agency for Regional Development of Kaluga Region, and Alexander Stuglev, Director, Roskongress Foundation.
The agreement provides for mutual cooperation aimed at Kaluga Region investment attractiveness’ increase, and promotion of promising investment and business project of Kaluga Region in internal and foreign markets. The parties to the Agreement are to hold consultations and jointly organize business forums, seminars, and meetings.
Roskongress Foundation was established in 2007. Its primary objective is to promote the development of economic potential, and national interests as well as to strengthen the positive image of Russia. The Foundation studies, analyzes, shapes and covers various issues of Russian and global economic agenda. It manages and promotes business projects, projects related to investments’ attraction, supports socially-oriented entrepreneurship and charity projects.
Over 80,000 people from 195 countries of the world take part annually in various events organized by Roskongress. The events are covered by over 10,000 correspondents. The Foundation’s analytical and expert projects are being implemented by 2,500 experts from Russia and abroad. It cooperates with partners from 75 countries.
The Agency for Regional Development of Kaluga Region acts as an entry point for all investors coming to the region. The Agency is engaged in investments’ attraction, Kaluga Region’s priority economic areas’ development and supports investment projects. The list of its primary activities also includes provision of information support to projects, organization of congresses and expositions, production of presentation materials, Kaluga Region Investment Portal’s administration. The Agency was established in 2000.
