Vladislav Shapsha visited enterprises located in Grabtsevo Industrial Park

On September 23, Vladislav Shapsha, the Governor of the Kaluga Region has visited the two enterprises located in Grabtsevo Industrial Park, namely Severstal-Gonvarri-Kaluga LLC and Gestamp-Gonvarri-Kaluga. These companies are involved in metal working and, without limitation, are the suppliers to the plants located in Kaluga, such as Volkswager Group Rus LLC and PSMA Rus LLC.

Severstal-Gonvarri-Kaluga LLC is a Russian-Spanish joint venture, which was established in 2009. The company is a connecting link between the rolled products manufacturer and the end customer, which is able to provide the full range of services of slitting and transversal cutting and blanking for the next stages of steel production. All processing operations are performed using the high-quality modern equipment.

Gestamp-Severstal-Kaluga LLC is a joint venture of Gestamp International Group and the Severstal, located in Russia. Gestamp has global experience in the design, development and production of metal components and is a global supplier to the automotive industry, while Severstal is one of the leading steel producers in Russia. In total, Gestamp has 112 plants in 23 countries, 4 of them are located in Russia. The plant in Kaluga, which was launched in 2010, is one of the largest Gestamp’s cold-formed steel plants in Europe. It produces external and internal body parts: sidewalls, roofs, doors, hoods, trunk lids, instrument panel crossbars and other components for the best-selling passenger cars manufactured in Russia, as well as for export. The company's capacity is up to 23,000,000 parts/year. An important feature of the Kaluga plant is the presence of its own tool section, which allows to quickly perform modifications to stamps of any complexity, thus fully satisfying the needs of customers. The volume of products shipped for 8 months of this year amounted to about RUB 4 bln. Over the years, Gestamp-Severstal-Kaluga LLC has transferred over RUB 1 bln to the consolidated budget of the region.
