Within the frames of business program of the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS 2021), Andrey Silkin, General Director of the Technologiya ORPE (part of the Rostec), and Elena Georgieva, Chairperson of Board of Directors of Novikombank, signed the agreement on financing the serial production of components for the Irkut MC-21 airliner.
The base bank of the Rostec State Corporation opens a credit line for the enterprise to the amount of 1.35 billion rubles, intended for purchase of ancillary equipment, which is demanded due to the increase in production of composite load-carrying structures, manufactured by the Obninsk enterprise for the advanced Russian airliner.
The Technologiya ORPE produces carbon fiber load-bearing elements of tail group in lots for the MC-21 airliner. For manufacturing of integral stringer structures, the enterprise engages automated processes, in-house developments, and locally produced materials. Extra financing will provide for output of 30-35 component sets for fin box and stabilizer assemblies per year.
