Kazanskaya Amvrosievskaya Convent is located in Shamordino, one of the most beautiful corners of Russia, between ancient cities of Kaluga and Kozelsk. There is a reliquary with the blessed remains of revered Optina Pustyn elders in the convent. There are three springs commemorating saints nearby the convent: for the icon of Our Lady of Kazan; reverend Amvrosiy, and revered Optina Pustyn elders.
